Late morning yesterday we looked at our our garden clock and found it had stopped. We knew it was about lunchtime so we went inside to eat and looked at the back room clock - and it had stopped!
We went to bed earlier than usual as I had an important hospital appointment this morning. In our bedroom there are 2 clocks - one is battery operated and the other radio controlled. J hadn't yet come up when suddenly a beeping started which turned out to be the radio controlled clock sounding an alarm at 12 midnight - now, in five years of owning it, we have never used the alarm function as neither of us have ever bothered to read the instructions about how to do so!
We set the battery clock's alarm for 7am but I kept waking up every hour or so. I looked at the radio controlled clock which said 7am - which was just as well as the other clock had stopped at ten to two in the morning - Spooky!
