Gardening Competition

We swore we would never enter another gardening competition - it's such hard work! We got a 3rd place for our front garden some years ago and it was shown in the council magazine, however our frontage is VERY small and we knew we would never get a higher place than that.

We also entered our back garden in the competition run by the company my husband worked for - and won that - but as far as we were concerned that was it!

This has a been a very difficult year though and this year I - unwisely - put our back garden into the Bexley in Bloom competition - really as a means for something to work towards.

Unfortunately the judging is in July - after the first flush of the early summer flowers - and before the next flowering occurs. therefore I have taken some photos of the flowers which obviously will not be seen by the judges.
